VPNs as virtual private networks are still an important method for ensuring confidential communication. They are designed to protect data flows between two or more points, but they have their technological and architectural limits. Knowledge of the differences in the principles of individual technologies, as well as a description of their advantages and disadvantages, can have a significant impact on the conditions of deployment of these products, the time of implementation and, of course, the overall costs.
The goal is a basic understanding of classical cryptography. Knowledge of the principles of this field and its proper use can greatly help to ensure security and protect customer or company data. The course material can then be used to find connections or further self-study. It is designed to allow students to make informed decisions when changing architectures.
This is a course divided into two days:
- Knowledge of secondary school mathematics
- Experience in system management
- Basic knowledge of computer security
- Knowledge of routing protocol and IP addressing principles
Cryptologist and cyber security specialist Jan Dušátko will guide you through the entire training. He started with IT in 1983 as a young enthusiast, and professionally since 1990. He has been devoting his attention to cryptography since 1998, and has been providing training on the subject since 2015. Beyond security, he has been involved in databases, computer networks, and programming for several years.
The training will allow you to better understand the principles of cryptography and to focus on potential weaknesses of algorithms.
Cryptography is based on mathematics but has interdisciplinary impacts, e.g. in security.
You will learn to implement protective mechanisms appropriately to protect communication and the data itself.
Write to me. I will create a customized training for you according to your needs.
