Security requirements are constantly increasing. Cryptography is an important building block, but security is not just cryptography. Unfortunately, the level of understanding of this topic and other related topics is at a very low level.
The aim of the course is a basic understanding of classical cryptography, its history and development. Within this course, the participant is introduced to the importance of randomness and unpredictability. This topic is followed by an explanation of hash functions and subsequently classical symmetric algorithms. Here is a part of the analysis of basic stream and block ciphers. Within asymmetric algorithms are explained the algorithms that have formed the core of contemporary computer security for almost 40 years, providing key agreement and digital signature.
This is a course divided into two days:
- Knowledge of secondary school mathematics
- Experience in system management
- Basic knowledge of computer security
Cryptologist and cyber security specialist Jan Dušátko will guide you through the entire training. He started with IT in 1983 as a young enthusiast, and professionally since 1990. He has been devoting his attention to cryptography since 1998, and has been providing training on the subject since 2015. Beyond security, he has been involved in databases, computer networks, and programming for several years.
The training will allow you to better understand the principles of cryptography and to focus on potential weaknesses of algorithms.
Cryptography is based on mathematics but has interdisciplinary impacts, e.g. in security.
You will learn to implement protective mechanisms appropriately to protect communication and the data itself.
Write to me. I will create a customized training for you according to your needs.
